About Me
Setthawut Jedsadaviriya
I'm an applications developer, i began my programming journey in 2023. While I haven't chosen a specialization yet, most of my experience so far has been with JavaScript, especially building websites using React and Next.js.
I've also developed mobile applications, but I'm most familiar with creating webs.
I adapt quickly in a "hands-on" settings. While I can take a little longer to get comfortable with new technical skills, I've been learning through my trials and errors, which took a lot of time to get used to.
I enjoy both front-end and back-end work, I'm currently stronger on the front-end. Outside of coding, I'm interested in jogging, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and gaming. I also have the unique perspective of having moved to Swiss from Thailand in the year 2015. I am very greatful for the opportunity to live in such a beautiful place like Switzerland
Values and Work Ethic
When faced with a challenge, I prefer to tackle the hardest parts first. I start by researching possible solutions, then reach out to someone knowledgeable if I hit a dead end, and if that doesn't work, I dig deeper or find a new approach entirely. I'm comfortable working alone, but I also value teamwork, especially with colleagues who are respectful, direct, and willing to listen, this also applies to myself. I appreciate honest, straightforward feedback and thrive in environments where communication is clear. My creativity is what makes me build. I prefer learning broadly so I can see multiple ways to solve a problem. Above all, I believe in giving my all to whatever I commit to. I can't stand being late or missing workdays it's just not me.
Beyond the Code
Don't judge a book by its cover—that's my motto, because I'm all about connecting with people and hearing their stories. I love diving into what makes others tick, especially when they're passionate, whether it's about their favorite game or a random hobby. Moving from Thailand to Swiss in 2015 taught me to stay open-minded, even if German took me five years to pronounce right!
I'm a bit stubborn when I believe I'm right, but I'm always ready to listen and learn if it makes sense—it's just how I grow. Trying new stuff lights me up, like my recent dive into cosplaying or signing up for Swiss volunteer work to help folks, especially the elderly who've got the best tales. I'm that random guy who finds fun in the unexpected, like turning potatoes into my ultimate comfort food.
Helping people is my jam, whether it's small favors or dreaming big like becoming a pilot or a caregiver for the sick. My best friend's support through tough times, like bullying, made me resilient and taught me to treat everyone with respect, even if they test my limits. I live by following my heart, keeping strong through jogging, and staying true to my Thai roots and Swiss life.
